About Dr. Hartselle

Dr. Hartselle received her MD from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her adult psychiatry training at New York University/ Bellevue Hospitals and her child psychiatry fellowship at Brown University where she served as chief resident. Previously, she directed the emergency psychiatry program at Hasbro Children's Hospital.

Dr. Hartselle is a sleep expert with extensive training in the diagnosis and management of sleep disorders. She holds certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry. She is also a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, recognized for outstanding contributions to the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr. Hartselle is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Brown University. She has won national awards for her work in psychiatry and has appeared as an expert speaker on television, radio and in newsprint across the country.  

 

Dr. Hartselle recently gave the Keynote Speech at the 2017 California Student Mental Wellness Conference.
